Car Ferry

Ferry service brings you to Beaver River in the summer months. Our ferry can acommodate up to six cars and departs from the Stillwater. Please call the day before your planned arrival date to schedule your trip.

Boat Taxi

Need a pick-up from Stillwater to a campsite? Stillwater Reservoir offers free camping sites. If you don't have your own transportation, count on us to take you to your chosen campsite! We'll pick you up at the Stillwater docks, gear and all (even your canoe or kayak).

The Norridgewock Lodge is located approximately 25 miles north of Old Forge, N.Y. the snowmobile capital of the East! From the NY State Thruway (90): Take a right after the toll booths on to Rt. 12 North. Follow 12 North to Alder Creek. Turn right to 28 North and follow signs to Old Forge. Continue through Old Forge on Rt. 28 to Eagle Bay.

From the Northway (87): From Albany, follow signs to Montreal, go north to the Warrensburg exit - 23. Take Rt. 28 West to Blue Mountain Lake. Turn left to Rt. 28 South and go through Raquette Lake and Inlet to Eagle Bay.

From Eagle Bay (28): Turn to the Big Moose Rd. Follow Big Moose Rd. approximately 6 miles, you will then come to a T, make a left and continue past Big Moose Railroad Station ( restaurant). The road then turns into a dirt road, continue 9 miles into Stillwater where the car ferry and tour boat are located. 

From Interstate 81: Take the Admas Center exit - 42 (Rt. 177) to Lowville. At the four way stop light in the center of town, continue straight through, then turn right at the "Fast Trac" store. Continue to the next four way stop, turn left to the Number 4 Road. Stay on Number 4 Road for about 17 miles, (after the first 4 miles, it makes a left turn at the Watson Inn). Turn right to the Stillwater Road for 9 miles.
